My son's a little young, but it's still a big hit! December 27, 2008 Helen Joyce Carodonna (Upstate NY) My son is only 2 1/2 but he is a huge Thomas fan so I figured what the heck. He plays by identifying all the characters by name, and we help him out. He does not *get* all of the rules to Bingo, but that didn't stop him from winning 4/5 games. It was fun and I'm glad we bought it now - I'm sure it will get plenty of use. The Thomas clips are great, too.
Loved it!!!!!! July 13, 2008 C. Wilson (NJ) We bought this toy for a 6 year old Thomas the Train lover and my 5 year old nephew. They both love it according to their moms.
A hit with my kids January 7, 2008 RAS (Maine) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
We have another DVD bingo game and I knew my kids would love this one too. Once I put the game in it can call the numbers by itself so I don't have to stand over them while they play. Its good for picture, number and letter recognition. My son could play at 3 1/2 and my daugher loves it at 6 1/2. Good game for groups and multi age kids since the older kids can help the younger ones.
Number practice for the Thomas fan January 6, 2008 A. S. (Florida) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
The numbers on the cards only go up to 60 instead of the usual 75. So I gave it four stars instead of 5 stars. The DVD has the option of playing full card, straight line, or letters games. Each number has one of Thomas' friends associated with it. Thomas is number 49 and Harold is number 24 on the cards. Also each column has a different color. The "B" columm is colored blue and the "I" column is red. This is used to help identify what column the number is located in. During the game a number is called with the color of the column, and the character, and the number. There are also short video clips shown during the game. It does take longer to play than a traditional bingo game but it is entertaining for the Thomas fan while practicing number identification. The bingo boards and bingo chips are made out of a heavy card board and will not easily bend. The is also a thin plastic bag included to store the bingo chips.
