Staff in charge of recreational activities at my local hospital found few disabled and elderly patients were able to join in the games of bingo as they had difficulty placing small, lightweight plastic counters over the numbers on their small bingo cards. Others had difficulty handling marker pens. All in all, bingo games were a bit of a washout.
These excellent cards are just what is needed. They are large and solid, yet lightweight, and the easy to manipulate plastic covers slide over the numbers on each card. Many patients with limited dexterity who were previously unable to join in the games are able to slide the covers over the numbers on the card with relative ease.
At just $1.99 per card, these cards have brought a great deal of joy to the recreational sessions at the hospital. A 'must have' for Occupational Therapy Departments.
